Best BBQ in town!

Aug 10, 2016 by Belinda

If you have never tried Sid's BBQ, it is a must! Especially on Monday and Wednesday for their stuffed baked potato! The turkey is also one of my favorites! It is so juicy and has so much flavor and the cream corn is to die for!

Response: Belinda, thank you so much and for taking the time to review us!

Great Food!

Stop in to try something different. We had the turkey sandwich. The best I ever had! Would love to see Mac & Cheese offered as a side. Then it would have been perfect. JJ gave us great service with a smile.

Response: Thank you so much Janet!

Fantastic meats, good sides, and a tasty homemade BBQ sauce. My new favorite lunch spot in town. I highly recommend.

Really good barbecue in a Texas setting. An old gas station converted to a BBQ joint and a meat market. The meat market next door had great boudin and chorizo, If you find yourself in Bandera, TX, go there.

This place has some seriously good pulled pork. The sauce they use ranks right up there with the best. They have daily specials. I had the baked potato, pulled pork, topped with cheese. Couldn’t have been better. Really worth the stop.

“BBQ Meat Done To Perfection”

The flavoring on this BBQ meat is fantastic. You have to realize that the focus here is totally on meat. You can eat outside or inside. The coleslaw is a good side and they have different kinds of ice cream bars for dessert. The price is also very reasonable.

“A real treat!”

This converted former gas station — there’s a lot of former gas stations in Texas — was a great find for the eight of us. Arriving 25 minutes before closing was no problem for the friendly manager, who let us clean out his inventory of brisket, BBQ and pulled pork (to the chagrin of several locals who came in after us for last-minute takeout and were disappointed) and then didn’t rush us as we lingered on over the feast (which included several side orders like slaw and baked beans and lots of beer and soda). Needed more bread? He offered up the whole loaf. Everything was well-cooked and -seasoned. Sid’s is nothing fancy: Smallish indoor dining area with seating for maybe 16, and several picnic tables outside under shelter of the roofs where gas pumps used to be. But everything’s neat as a pin, the food’s great, and the folks couldn’t be nicer.
